Introducing the next generation of the Legend Amp series of pedals, the LA2 line. Guaranteed to be the most versatile distortion pedals on the market, offering huge tube-style saturated tone in the styles of all of your favorite high gain modern and classic amp heads. The LA2 pedals will accompany the original series, as an enhanced upgraded “PRO” version.

Moderate-gain amps such as Orange are favored by fans of velvet and sparkling sound, the one we tried to reproduce with special warmness in O-2 model. *

Two-channel LA-2 series preamp effects are designed to produce clean and overdriven guitar sound within a variety of guitar channel organization. The basic concept of the series is “your own sound in your pocket.” LA-2 incorporates original circuit designs developed by the specialists of AMT, which allow to obtain bright and rich sound in the style of the original tube overdrives using low-voltage (9V) power and low current consumption.

The distinctive feature of the series is the presence of three outputs intended for implementation of basic types of channels organization:

– direct connection to guitar system power amp;
– connection to “clean” channel of a guitar combo or amp;
– direct connection to a mixer.

All three of these outputs can be used simultaneously! Use the different outputs for recording direct and micing at the same time, run different effects through different outputs, or record three DAW tracks all at once. The routing and recording options are endless. The Legend II series of pedals are a studios engineers dream come true.

Two channel preamp and distortion pedal

When connected to the amp or a mixer La-2 acts as a two-channel preamp providing switch between clean and overdriven channels by means of a footswitch. CLEAN channel is universal for all models of the series and sounds in the style of classic Fender amps.

When using LA-2 in effect mode the “clean” channel of an external amplifier or a combo is used. Please be aware that the used combo or amplifier largely determines the resulting sound.

When in effect mode the series uses “partial” active bypass, which reduces the need to minimize the length of used cables and retains the original sound of the instrument when the effect is off.

CONTROLS:

– OD LEVEL adjusts the overall loudness of the pedal output
– OD GAIN adjusts the amount of distortion and drive
– HIGH controls the amount of high frequency in the signal
– MIDDLE controls the amount of mid frequency in the signal
– BASS controls the amount of bass frequency in the signal
– CL LEVEL adjusts the buffer output of the bypassed signal, 1 o’clock positioning represents standard -10dB level
– CL BOOST SWITCH engages a boost of clean signal up to +8dB when the pedal is bypassed, making the pedal a 2-channel preamp

Среди малогейновых усилителей многим по душе бархатный и искрящийся звук усилителей Orange, характер звука которых мы с особым теплом постарались воспроизвести в модели O-2. Это самый малогейновый преамп в серии LA2, выдающий на канале драйв от чистого до очень лёгкого приятного и нежного перегруза в лучших традициях британских лоу-гейн усилителей.

Общая характеристика

Двухканальные предварительные усилители-эффекты серии LA-2 предназначены для получения чистого и перегруженного звука гитары при самых различных схемах организации гитарного тракта. Основная концепция серии – «свой звук в кармане». В серии LA-2 использованы оригинальные схемные решения, разработанные специалистами компании АМТ, и позволяющие получить при низковольтном (9В) питании и малом потреблении тока яркий и насыщенный звук в стиле оригинальных ламповых перегрузов.

Отличительной особенностью серии является наличие трех выходов для реализации основных схем организации каналов:

– подключение непосредственно к усилителю мощности нагруженного на гитарную акустическую систему;
– подключение в «чистый» канал гитарного комбо или гитарного усилителя;
– подключение непосредственно в микшерный пульт.

Все три выхода могут использоваться одновременно!!!, полностью выполняя свои функции и не оказывая никакого влияния друг на друга.

LA-2 при подключении в оконечный усилитель и микшерный пульт является двухканальным преампом с возможностью переключения между чистым и перегруженным каналами ножным переключателем. CLEAN-канал универсален для всех моделей серии и имеет характер звучания в стиле классических усилителей Fender.

При эксплуатации LA-2 в режиме эффекта используется «чистый» канал внешнего усилителя или комбо, и необходимо учитывать, что итоговое звучание во многом определяется используемым комбо или усилителем.

В режиме эффекта серии применен «щадящий» активный байпас, что снижает требования к минимизации длины соединительных шнуров, максимально сохраняя исходный звук инструмента при выключенном эффекте.

Органы управления

Преампы серии LA-2 просты в обращении и имеют небольшое число органов управления.

Чувствительность каналов определяется положением регулятора OD. GAIN для драйв канала и кнопкой Clean Mid-Boost для clean канала. Различные модели серии имеют разную общую чувствительность drive-канала, соответствующую чувствительности эмулируемого перегруза.

Регуляторы TREBLE, MIDDLE, BASS обеспечивают регулировку высших, средних и низших частот Drive-канала. При эксплуатации в качестве эффекта регулятор OD. GAIN и переключатель Clean Mid-Boost никакого влияния на проходящий через байпас звук не оказывают!

Уровень выходного сигнала определяется положением регуляторов OD. LEVEL для драйв канала и регулятором CL. LEVEL для clean канала, что составляет в положении на 13 часов стандартный уровень –10дб. Уровень выходного сигнала при максимальном положении регулятора достигает +8дб, поэтому используйте такое положение лишь при желании перегрузить входные цепи Вашего комбо или для дополнительной перегрузки оконечного усилителя.
